Halloween weekend is one of San Antonio’s biggest nights out, and this crawl takes over Southtown / Midtown, where beer gardens, cocktail bars and patios sit just off the River Walk. Your wristband works at every participating bar below on the night you book.

!Every participating bar offers a free welcome shot (one per bar, up to 5) and free cover unless noted next to its name. Perks vary by venue, run while supplies last and may end before the crawl does, so start early to enjoy more of the crawl.

First crawl or returning with your crew? Here’s how our Halloween parties work in every city.

Pick Your City & Night

Choose your city, neighborhood and date. Save 20% when you book four or more tickets together.

Check In On Time

Bring your ticket and a valid photo ID to your check-in bar and collect your wristband before check-in closes. Then open the digital Event Guide for bar info, maps and perks.

Explore Your Way

There is no fixed schedule. Visit participating bars in any order. Your wristband gets you free welcome shots/treats, Halloween drink specials and free cover at select venues. Perks vary by venue and may end before the crawl does, so start early.

Make It a Halloween Night

Dress up, post your costume on Instagram and stay at your favorites a little longer or keep exploring. You set the pace.

Before you go: All crawlers must be 21+ with a valid photo ID. Check-in is mandatory. Your ticket is valid on the date you booked at participating bars in every district we crawl in your city. Lost wristbands can’t be replaced.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My wife and I have participated in at least 8 of these bar crawls over the past couple of years and every single one of them has been a BLAST.

It's a great way to meet new people and get out without a lot of structure or plan, but still have a bunch of places to go.

You can visit as few or as many of the bars as you want, the welcome shot at each new place is always fun.

I cannot recommend this highly enough, no matter the event or time of year, these bar crawls deliver fun!

As we stayed a few days in Tampa we asked the Downtown Crawlers to organize a privat bar crawl for our group. As the crawl was at the Thanksgiving Day I guess it was pretty hard to find many bars to host our group. But the event was really awesome. We visited four bars, received at every bar a welcome shot and felt more then comfortable. Thomas and Andreas from the Downtown Crawlers even stayed with us the whole 12 hours until the end. Really was a great experience and can only recommend their events. 👍👍

I’ve been on numerous bar crawls with Downtown Crawlers and always have a blast! Their experimental events are a great way to explore the area’s best bars and meet new people. Everyone kept telling me how much fun they were having all night. I got a lot of high fives ✋🏽 and fist bumps 👊🏽. It was perfect. I say weekend because the day after I usually need time to get some R&R. They are definitely the most fun bar crawl in Tampa and love when you bring more people! Every one was in high spirits and ready to have fun. The whole event was well planned and covered 4 stops. I met so many people and formed friendships. I've been frequenting these bar crawls for over a year now and even though they are more popular now, the group never fails to bring a wonderfully fun day or night out! I have found some of my favorite Tampa and St Pete bars and restaurants from these crawls and made some really great networking connections. Highly recommend!!!!

My friends and I have tried many different bar crawls in the area and Downtown Crawlers has the best ones by far! The owners of the bar crawl are extremely welcoming and go above and beyond to make sure everyone is having an amazing time! The party buses make the experience so much more convenient and fun. From the moment you arrive you start having fun, there are fun activities, the staff is friendly, and overall the people that go to these events are soo much fun! Thomas and the rest of the crew are seriously the best! You always have plenty of time to fully enjoy each stop with multiple bus pick-ups and drop-offs to choose from. They do a great job of incorporating bars that have been around for a while and also the newer ones. This allows you to experience places that you've never heard of or have always wanted to check out. Overall it's a 5 out of 5 star of a time! HALLOWEEN BAR CRAWL FAQ

Quick answers about tickets, check-in and getting around at our Halloween bar crawls.

What is my ticket valid for?

Your ticket is valid on the date you booked at participating bars in every district we crawl in your city – some cities have one district, others up to three. Check in at the location shown on your ticket; after check-in, your wristband is your access to participating bars and their perks. Check your Eventbrite listing and the Event Guide for full details.

How do group tickets work?

Buying four or more tickets together? Select the Group ticket option on Eventbrite to save 20%. Everyone’s tickets must be purchased together in the same order to receive the group discount.

Where and when do I check in?

Check in at the location and during the check-in window shown on your Eventbrite ticket. Check-in is mandatory to collect your wristband. Review your ticket and any event updates before heading out, as details may change.

What do I need to bring?

Bring your Eventbrite ticket confirmation and a valid government-issued photo ID. Showing your ticket on your phone is fine. All participants must be 21 or older.

Can a friend collect my wristband or check in our whole group?

Yes. One person can collect wristbands for the group, or a friend can collect yours. They’ll need everyone’s ticket confirmations, either together on one order or forwarded to them, and must arrive during the published check-in window. Each crawler still needs their own valid photo ID at the bars.

What if I arrive after check-in closes?

Wristbands cannot be collected after check-in closes. If you’re running late, forward your ticket confirmation to a friend who can collect your wristband during the check-in window.

How do welcome shots and drink specials work?

Show your wristband at participating bars to redeem free welcome shots or treats, one per venue, up to five per wristband. Each bar chooses its offer: some require a drink purchase, and some don’t offer a welcome shot. Offers run while supplies last – check the Event Guide for each bar’s conditions. Additional drinks and food are purchased separately.

Are welcome shots and free cover available until the event ends?

Not necessarily. Each bar sets its own offer hours, which may end before the overall event does, and supplies are limited. Entry and cover can also change as venues get busy or for safety reasons. Check the Event Guide and start early to enjoy more of the crawl.

What if a bar is full, charges cover or can’t honor an offer?

Head to another participating bar on the list. Venues control admission, cover and offers, so these can vary from bar to bar. An issue at a single venue doesn’t qualify for a refund. If staff don’t recognize the crawl, email [email protected] with the venue name and time so we can follow up with management.

Can I join later or choose my own route?

Yes. Once your wristband has been collected, you can join at any participating bar and explore in any order. Perks vary by venue and may end before the event does, so starting early gives you more time to enjoy them.

What if I lose my wristband?

Your wristband is your access to every venue and perk, so treat it like cash – lost wristbands can’t be replaced.

Do I have to wear a costume?

Costumes are encouraged but never required. Come dressed up or come as you are.

How does the costume contest work?

Our costume contest takes place on Instagram. Post a photo of your costume and follow the entry details shared for your event. Winners are picked and announced on Instagram.

Is transportation included?

Transportation is not included. Plan how you’ll reach check-in, travel between venues and get home. Depending on the location, walking or rideshare may be suitable. Please never drink and drive.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Our crawls take place rain or shine, so dress for the weather between venues. If conditions become unsafe, we may adjust hours or programming for guest safety. See our Refund & Service Policy for details.

Can I give my ticket to someone else?

Yes. Tickets are transferable – forward your Eventbrite ticket to a friend and they can check in with it. See our Refund & Service Policy for full terms.
