Halloween Bar Crawls

25+ cities

Halloween is our biggest crawl of the year. On Halloween weekend, crawlers in costume take over downtown districts in more than 25 cities. Check in, grab your wristband and hop between participating bars with drink specials at every stop. Explore at your own pace and meet a crowd that's all in on the theme.

Crawl tip: Group and couple costumes always steal the show. Costumes encouraged, not required.

Nov – Dec

Holiday Bar Crawls

Cities nationwide

Ugly sweaters, Santa suits and elf ears: our Holiday Bar Crawls bring festive cheer to downtown bars through November and December. Gather your friends, coworkers or family, pick your most outrageous holiday outfit and toast the season with drink specials at every stop.

Crawl tip: The uglier the sweater, the better. A great plan for friends home for the holidays.

January

Gasparilla Bar Crawl, Brunch & Festival

Tampa only

Gasparilla is Tampa's legendary pirate invasion, and our Gasparilla Bar Crawl, Brunch & Festival puts you right in the middle of it. Kick off parade day with brunch, then join the bar crawl and festival with thousands of pirates in the streets. It's the only brunch on our calendar, and seats are limited.

Crawl tip: Pirate gear encouraged. Book brunch early: it fills up first.

St. Patrick's Day Bar Crawls

Cities nationwide

Every March our St. Patrick's Day Bar Crawls turn downtown green. Grab your crew, wear your best green and hit Irish pubs and local favorites with drink specials at every stop. It's one of the busiest crawl days of the year, so lock in your wristband early.

Cinco de Mayo Bar Crawls

Margaritas, tacos and fiesta vibes: our Cinco de Mayo Bar Crawls kick off the summer season with drink specials at participating bars across our cities. It is the perfect excuse to get the group back together before summer.

I say weekend because the day after I usually need time to get some R&R. They are definitely the most fun bar crawl in Tampa and love when you bring more people! I’ve been on numerous bar crawls with Downtown Crawlers and always have a blast! Their experimental events are a great way to explore the area’s best bars and meet new people. I've been frequenting these bar crawls for over a year now and even though they are more popular now, the group never fails to bring a wonderfully fun day or night out! I have found some of my favorite Tampa and St Pete bars and restaurants from these crawls and made some really great networking connections. Highly recommend!!!!

My friends and I have tried many different bar crawls in the area and Downtown Crawlers has the best ones by far! The owners of the bar crawl are extremely welcoming and go above and beyond to make sure everyone is having an amazing time! The party buses make the experience so much more convenient and fun. I have never had a bad experience with this company! I’ve been going on their bar crawls since November 2018 and haven’t missed a holiday since. The owners are great people and their team is so fun. The bars they partner with are also great and the drink/food specials are definitely worth it. Overall, I’ve had a fantastic time on every crawl. The value is definitely there with transportation between venues, free welcome shots at every bar, food & drink specials, and the personal touch of having the owners and their team there and making sure everyone is having fun. Cannot recommend them enough and I cant wait for their next event!

It's a great way to meet new people and get out without a lot of structure or plan, but still have a bunch of places to go.

You can visit as few or as many of the bars as you want, the welcome shot at each new place is always fun.

I cannot recommend this highly enough, no matter the event or time of year, these bar crawls deliver fun!

Themed Crawl FAQ

Which themed bar crawls does Downtown Crawlers host?

Five themes run every year: Halloween in October, Holiday crawls in November and December, Gasparilla in Tampa in January, St. Patrick's Day in March and Cinco de Mayo in May.

When do tickets go on sale?

Each theme goes on sale as its season opens, when cities and dates are announced. Join the crawl list to hear first when tickets drop.

Does every theme run in every city?

Not always. Halloween runs in the most cities, Gasparilla is Tampa only, and the other themes vary by season. Check the cities page to see which crawls are planned near you.

Do I need to dress up for the theme?

Costumes and theme outfits are encouraged, not required. Most crawlers go all in, so expect a crowd that's ready to celebrate.

What makes Gasparilla different?

Gasparilla is Tampa's pirate festival. Besides the bar crawl and festival, it's the only event where we host a brunch. Brunch seats are limited, so book early.

Do you offer group discounts?

Yes. Groups of 4 or more save 20% on every themed crawl with the Group ticket.

What happens if it rains?

All crawls run rain or shine, so dress for the weather and the theme.
